we run our childrens market from
Auckland Point School.
Families can come along and just
enjoy an affordable, fun time out and/or kids can run stalls.
We allow kid focused community
organisations and businesses to run
stalls also.
There are so many elements to the benefits of the childrens market:
Fun, the value of money, thinking outside of self (some children raise money for local organisations), the value of money, the value of time, community and resourcing.
Great skills to develop at a young age.
What's interesting is that Auckland Point school is on an historical trading site between Maori and European settlers.
